Diamond HubSpot Partner
LeadCoverage stands up, audits, rebuilds and runs HubSpot for freight brokers, 3PLs, forwarders, carriers and warehousing operators. We do not work across industries. We build Revenue Engines exclusively in this one.
Every client we take on runs on HubSpot. That is not a service line. It is how we deliver.

Why companies call us
In every case the issue is the same. HubSpot was never configured around math.
We're buying HubSpot. Help us set it up correctly.Standup or full implementation
We have HubSpot. We're not getting ROI.Assessment, rescue or rebuild
We need a go-to-market strategy, and HubSpot must support it.GTM program plus RevOps retainer
The point of view
You don't just need a CRM. You need a system that tells your sales team who to call and why. Kara Smith Brown, CEO and author of The Revenue Engine
If your Marketing Hub and Sales Hub are not measured against pipeline math, it is not a growth engine. It is a cost center.
What we find in the portal
Reps keep the real pipeline in a spreadsheet because the system was never built around how they sell.
The TMS, the ERP and the quoting tool each hold part of the customer. None hold the revenue picture.
Leadership cannot see activity, pipeline or win rate by lane, mode or terminal.
95% of your market isn't buying. Your job is to identify the 5% who are, and most portals never surface them.
Six figures of licenses and no line connecting them to booked freight.
What we do
Eight ways to engage, from a portal assessment to a multi-year embedded partnership. Every engagement ends with documentation, SOPs and a trained team.
A defined, time-boxed build that gets a working portal into the field fast.
For teams already on HubSpot who are not getting what they paid for.
Enterprise builds across multiple hubs, business units and operating companies.
When a prior rollout failed and the team walked away, we start over on purpose.
Operational data surfaced to sellers without turning HubSpot into a second TMS.
Moving off a legacy CRM without losing pipeline history.
A structured 90-day program to stand up a measurable go-to-market engine without a retainer.
A monthly plan that keeps the platform healthy and the roadmap moving.
The integration argument
When we connect a TMS to HubSpot, we start here. These are not operational details. They are strategic sales signals.
Tells a rep whether an account is active or quietly slipping away.
A profitability snapshot at the moment of the call, not a month later in a report.
Reveals where strategic focus and cross-sell effort should actually go.
If your reps can see date, margin and total customer value, they'll know where to spend their time. Kara Smith Brown, CEO and author of The Revenue Engine
How we build it
Your HubSpot instance should never become your TMS. HubSpot is a marketing and sales engine built to drive pipeline, not to replicate an operational database. Attempting to turn it into a shipment ledger dilutes its purpose and confuses users.
What we do design deliberately is scope and direction. Most builds start with a small set of signals flowing into HubSpot, because that is where the sales action is. Plenty of builds also need something written back, a won account created in the TMS, a status returned to operations, and we build that where it earns its place. What we do not do is mirror one database into the other.
Middleware is chosen per client, not by habit. Chain.io and Tray.io are the two we reach for most, but we have built on the platforms clients already own, including native APIs and an existing Azure data lake. We own the HubSpot side either way, so it stays maintained rather than abandoned.
We don't simply connect systems. We operationalize strategy.
Three signals the rep acts on. Direction and middleware are design decisions, made per client.
The process
The order matters. Most failed HubSpot rollouts skipped straight to build, configured the platform around the software instead of the sales motion, and lost the field within a quarter.
Already on HubSpot?
Most logistics teams run HubSpot at a fraction of its power. We keep a running list of the revenue-engine capabilities sitting unused in the average freight instance, and the ones your competitors haven't touched either. HubSpot ships new capability constantly, so we revise it often. Get the current edition.
Knowing which ICP accounts are on your site before they fill out a form, and getting a rep on the phone while it still matters.
Buyer Intent · Speed to Lead · Lead Scoring · and moreReaching shippers and carriers on the channels they actually answer, at a volume one team can sustain.

The current edition is headed to you now. We will send the revised version whenever HubSpot ships something worth knowing about.
Impacts of our work
Four HubSpot engagements in transportation and logistics. Client names withheld where approval is pending.
Strong sales operation, no marketing foundation underneath it. We built the MarTech strategy, mapped deal stages to automation, migrated historical data from the legacy CRM into HubSpot, stood up a SalesIntel integration and ran a domain warming campaign. Set up in 90 days.
No CRM at all. Quoting, operational and accounting data split across a TMS, an ERP and legacy databases that did not talk. We built a four-level revenue hierarchy, connected the systems into a data lake and ran six workstreams in parallel.
McLeod met operational needs and left the revenue side blind. We deployed Sales Hub in phases and built a custom one-way McLeod integration that LeadCoverage owns and maintains, rather than a six-figure API project.
A team that had tried HubSpot once and walked away after a failed top-down rollout. Mobile-first phased Sales Hub and Marketing Hub build across multiple Microsoft tenants, with CargoWise reaching HubSpot through the existing Azure data lake. Figures below describe delivered scope.
After go-live
Implementation is the starting line, not the finish. You've built the machine. Now it needs fuel. Every plan pairs a named consultant with a fixed monthly cadence and implementation capacity. Higher tiers add monitoring, not just hours. Available monthly, quarterly or annually.

The question everyone asks
HubSpot onboarding is good at teaching a team to use HubSpot. It is not designed to redesign how a freight business sells. Both can be the right answer. Here is the honest difference.
| HubSpot onboarding | LeadCoverage | |
|---|---|---|
| What it covers | Platform enablement and guided setup of the hubs you bought. | Sales process design first, then the platform configured to serve it. |
| Who does the work | Guided. Your team executes the configuration. | We execute. Roughly half consulting, half hands-on build. |
| Industry context | Horizontal across every industry HubSpot serves. | Transportation and supply chain only. We know what a bill-to site is. |
| TMS and ERP | Out of scope. | In scope. We design, build and maintain the integration. |
| Data migration | Guidance on importing. | We map, clean and migrate historical deals and activity. |
| Carriers | Not addressed. | Segmented deliberately so the shipper pipeline stays clean. |
| Adoption | Training on the software. | Role-based training, written SOPs, an internal training library and weekly enablement. |
| After go-live | Onboarding concludes. | Managed support plans with monitoring and a standing roadmap. |
Who we build for
Common questions
A fixed-scope standup runs weeks, not quarters. Our GTM Setup Program runs roughly 90 days. A phased Sales Hub and Marketing Hub build for a mid-size forwarder has gone live in about ten weeks. A custom Sales Hub deployment for a national 3PL on McLeod took sixteen weeks. Enterprise builds across multiple operating companies run longer and go live in phases.
No. We work with companies who bought direct from HubSpot, who bought through another partner, and who have had HubSpot sitting underused for years. As a Diamond Partner we can support procurement and contract negotiation if you want it, but licensing and services are separate decisions and HubSpot license fees are contracted directly with HubSpot.
Yes, and we will push back on how much you connect. We have built and now maintain integrations to McLeod using Tray.io and reached CargoWise through Chain.io and through a client's existing Azure data lake. We also work with MercuryGate, Descartes, Rose Rocket, Tailwind, Turvo and homegrown systems. The design principle is the same either way: a small number of fields that change what a seller does, direction chosen to fit the workflow rather than by rule, and no attempt to mirror the operational database. Middleware follows the client. Chain.io and Tray.io are our usual choices, but we will build on what you already own.
A portal assessment. Configuration, data quality, unused licensed features, broken automation and duplicate records, ending in a prioritized remediation plan. Most assessments find meaningful capability already paid for and switched off.
That is a rebuild, and it is one of the most common engagements we run. The technical fix is the easy half. The harder half is earning back a field team that has already been burned once, which is why we rebuild around the sales motion, go mobile-first where the team is mobile-first, and phase the launch instead of mandating it from the top down.
Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, Zoho, Dynamics, homegrown and spreadsheet-based systems, and HubSpot-to-HubSpot portal consolidation after an acquisition. Historical deals, contacts, companies and activity come across with field mapping and a hygiene pass.
Deliberately. If you run a brokerage model, carriers will end up in your CRM whether you plan for it or not. We tag them with custom properties, use separate lifecycle stages or custom objects for onboarding and compliance, and segment marketing so carrier communication stays distinct from shipper nurture. That keeps reporting clean and the sales funnel focused on revenue-driving shippers.
You do. Documentation, SOPs and the internal training library are deliverables, not upsells. Integrations we build are handed over documented.
Rarely, and it is not where we are useful. Over 80% of our clients are in supply chain, logistics or supply chain technology. The vocabulary, the buying committee and the operational systems are the reason we are fast.
Through a Silver, Gold or Platinum managed plan. Each pairs a named consultant with a fixed cadence and monthly implementation capacity. The higher tiers add monitoring, which is what keeps a portal from quietly degrading over a year.
